"Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding." Proverbs 23:23

Knowledge is everywhere and in every text. One is ignorant to think their text is the only correct one. A true seeker of knowledge goes out to see all, and looks in to see all.

Therefore, I made this in order to spread, share, and discuss knowledge and ideas. The growth of knowledge, whether scientific, metaphysical, spiritual, or artistic, results with the progress of the human existence.

"

My dear children, let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love.

This is the only way we’ll know we’re living truly, living in God’s reality. It’s also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it.

For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.

"On the spiritual path, there’s nothing to get, and everything to get rid of. Obviously, the first thing to let go of is trying to ‘get’ love, and instead to give it. That’s the secret of the spiritual path. How can we give ourselves? By not holding back. By not wanting for ourselves. If we want to be loved, we are looking for a support system. If we want to love, we are looking for spiritual growth."

Teacher Arrested (And Will Probably Lose His Job) After Authorities Discover .033 Ounces of Marijuana On His Property

Thank god this monster is off the streets.

Oh, the irony. Apparently, today, the TRUE evil of this world according to society are people who download music and people who possess marijuana. Not murderers, not mobs, not thieves, not domestic abusers, and not adulterers. Downloading music and marijuana possession.

"[The Catholic Church] barely protested when the last president authorized torture, but the Catholic hierarchy is now determined to use what’s left of its authority to organize protests this summer against their right to deny insured contraception to Catholic and non-Catholic employees in schools and hospitals. This will be their cause - not saving universal healthcare from repeal, not bringing illegal immigrants out of the shadows, not protecting the poor, but affirming that religious liberty is at stake if they cannot keep the pill from their female employees’ insurance, 98 percent of whom use it at some point in their lives anyway."

"The free market is the greatest generator of wealth in history. I’m a firm believer in the free market, and the capacity of Americans to start a business, pursue their dreams and strike it rich. But when you look at the history of how we became an economic superpower, that rugged individualism and private-sector dynamism was always coupled with government creating a platform so that everybody could succeed, so that consumers weren’t taken advantage of, so that the byproducts of capitalism, like pollution or worker injuries, were regulated. Creating that social safety net has not made us weaker – it’s made us stronger. It liberated people to say, “I can move to another state, but if I don’t find a job right away, my kids aren’t going to go hungry. I can start a business, but if it doesn’t work out, I’m going to be able to land on my feet.” Making those kinds of commitments to each other – to create safety nets, to invest in infrastructure and schools and basic research – is just like our collective investment in national security or fire departments or police. It has facilitated the kind of risk-taking that has made our economy so dynamic. This is what it means for us to live in a thriving, modern democracy."

Quite so.

"I don’t want to overemphasize my Catholicism here. But I know my religion. I know religions in general. In the New Testament, the one place where Jesus talks about the death penalty, he says, ‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.’ When I’ve reflected on the death penalty, the reality is I frequently ponder that passage."

"The loneliest feeling in the world is when you think you are leading the parade and turn to find that no one is following you."

Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Definitely has some good points. Some may say it’s surprising to hear such words from Chaplin, considering that he was an actor, but keep in mind, everyone carries wisdom.

I just find it sad that people still do not realize a lot of the things that he states.

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
